Job Title: SAP PP Consultant

Location: Hybrid (Onsite travel to Cleveland, OH as needed)

Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to support design, configuration, testing, and deployment of PP processes in an S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with manufacturing execution, planning strategies, MRP, shop floor operations, and integration with other SAP modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business stakeholders at the Cleveland site.
• Configure and customize SAP PP (S/4HANA preferred) including MRP, work centers, BOMs, routings, production orders, and planning strategies.
• Support integration with SAP MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO modules.
• Work with global and local teams to design end-to-end manufacturing solutions.
• Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.
• Provide production support and resolve PP-related issues.
• Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams.
• Train users and support deployment/go-live activities.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of hands-on SAP PP configuration and project experience.
• Strong knowledge of production order processing, shop-floor control, capacity planning, and demand management.
• Experience with S/4HANA PP is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of PP-PI (Process Industries) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to travel to Cleveland, OH (20–40% depending on project stage).
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in discrete manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• SAP PP certification is a plus.
