Responsibilities
- Partner with sponsors and portfolio managers to identify and prioritize divisional initiatives.
- Develop and manage divisional roadmaps, business cases, and cost benefit analyses.
- Oversee project approvals, vendor onboarding, and governance model implementation.
- Manage budgets, funding channels, and resource allocations for maximum productivity.
- Track and present program status, risks, and progress to senior and executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with state IT roadmap and security requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Proven experience managing multiple large, complex IT projects.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, tailored to diverse audiences.
- Hands on experience with risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications management.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and MS Office.
- Ability to build, influence, and motivate effective teams.
- PMP/PgMP or Agile (PMI ACP) certification.
- Experience with statewide IT projects, legacy system replacement, and data migration.
- Background collaborating with state or local government.
