Regular Routine Maintenance duties
1. Create new schedules for inpatient and ambulatory departments
a. Train super users on the new schedules
2. Periodic review of schedules to ensure patient no shows, etc are being cleared out
3. Assist with training of new employees in the scheduling areas
4. Add, delete, modify Physicians and Providers in SF. This is a manual process as we are notified
5. Monitor error logs of third party applications such as Experian
6. OMS and Security
7. Document workflows using visio and related tools
8. Monthly move of Payer rules
9. Validation of patches provided by Cerner
10. Monitoring of 3M coding interface
11. SSI edits
Special Projects and initiatives as needed
1. Assist Business Office management with CDRTs and shared encounters (hospital and professional billing)
2. Work with Cerner on the build of new rules
3. Periodically meet with Business Office in reviewing revenue cycle error reports
4. Review variance reports to ensure contractual adjustments and fee schedules remain accurate
5. Review APC and DRG calculation errors
6. Assist Business Office leaders as they make changes to DNFB and EBEW reporting
7. GL mapping and balancing procedures
8. Late charge worklist
9. Review of master files as needed
10. Documentation of charge master updates
Updates to all documentation including interactions with Cerner Millennium and OpenLink
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Cape Girardeau, MO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
