Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid – Remote initially, onsite as required)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester (Manual & Automation) to support enterprise application modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, API validation, database testing, and Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform Manual and Automation Testing for enterprise applications.
• Create and execute Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance (UAT), and End-to-End Testing.
• Validate REST APIs using Postman.
• Perform SQL backend/database validation.
• Test Salesforce applications and Mobile/PWA applications.
• Validate JSON/XML responses.
• Track and manage defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure software quality.

Required Skills

• 5 years of QA Testing experience.
• Selenium, TestNG, and Java.
• REST API Testing using Postman.
• SQL and Backend Database Validation.
• Salesforce Testing.
• Mobile and Progressive Web Application (PWA) Testing.
• JSON/XML Validation.
• Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• SDLC, RTM, Test Planning, and Automation Frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with State Government projects.
• Human Services, Healthcare, Medicaid, or Medicare domain experience.
• Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES).
• SNAP, TANF, LTSS, or Benefits Administration projects.
• CI/CD, Git, and Enterprise Modernization experience.

Additional Information

• Local Connecticut candidates are preferred.
• Position is remote initially; candidates must be willing to work onsite in Hartford, CT when required.
• Eligible candidates: U.S. Citizens, Green Card, GC-EAD, or H1-B Transfer.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
