Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead / Lead Engineer Data Science with a strong background in the telecom domain. The ideal candidate will lead data-driven initiatives, manage a team of data scientists and engineers, and deliver advanced analytics solutions to optimize telecom operations and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, data engineers, and analysts.
- Design and implement scalable data science solutions for telecom network optimization, churn prediction, and customer analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and define analytical strategies.
- Develop predictive and prescriptive models using Python, R, or similar tools.
- Work with large datasets using SQL, PySpark, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure).
- Oversee model deployment and performance monitoring in production environments.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with telecom standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years of total experience in Data Science / Advanced Analytics.
- 5 years in the Telecom domain (network, customer, or operations analytics).
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark, and Machine Learning frameworks.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Exposure to AI/ML lifecycle management on cloud platforms.
- Proven leadership and project management experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI or AWS SageMaker.
- Knowledge of MLOps best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
