Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize cloud-based data solutions and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture. Familiarity with Informatica for data integration and ETL workflows is required.
Responsibilities:
Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions on Google Cloud Platform
Design and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow
Support data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes
Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams
Ensure best practices in data modeling, architecture, security, and governance
Troubleshoot performance issues and support production environments
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow)
Proven experience designing scalable data architectures
Knowledge of ETL technologies and data integration
Working familiarity with Informatica
Strong SQL and data modeling experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines
Experience migrating data to Google Cloud Platform from on-prem or other cloud platforms
