Armed/Unarmed Public Safety Officer
Location: Baltimore City

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter misconduct and identify potential hazards or security breaches
- Patrol the community on foot and by vehicle.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services
- Manage conflicts through effective conflict management techniques, de-escalating tense situations professionally
- Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and logs for future review and action
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism activities and implementing preventative measures
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, security operations, or related fields.
- Maryland Certification as a guard officer, or ability to apply within 30 days of employment and satisfactorily receive your MD Guard Card.
- Maryland wear and carry handgun permit (optional)
- Proof of attendance at the 12-hour guard training required by the State of Maryland Department of Corrections, or ability to attend within 30 days of employment.
- Knowledge of conflict management strategies to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Ability to work independently with a high level of vigilance while maintaining excellent communication skills
- MUST possess a driver's license and have an acceptable driving record with no more than 2 points on their license. (DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE)
- Must be available to work any of our three shifts, including at least two days from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m
Shift Availability:
All Shifts: (Required to work weekend shifts and holidays as needed.) Please do not apply if you cannot work weekends or if you do not have a flexible schedule. (Except for part-time applicants.)
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
