Position Description:
Global InfoTek, Inc. is hiring!!! Remote Position with the Air Force as a Cloud Architect - Senior (Remote Position)- Individuals with expertise in the design, deployment, and management of cloud resources. Cloud architects understand at a deep level the structure and distribution of computing resources in AWS, Azure, etc. Also, will prioritize usage to most efficiently allocate funds and resources for the platform. Experience in Technical Customer Service, Customer Management, and experience escalations may be required. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Demonstrated knowledge in the following:
- Cloud Native Architectures and Zero Trust
- Kubernetes
- AWS and some other Clouds (Azure, GCP, etc)
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud architecture using Terraform
- Communicating these solutions in a professional way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborating with other engineers and members of the team using tools like git, in a secure, effective, and scalable way
- Highly experienced with AWS
- Advanced networking, VPC, peering, and subnet experience
- Gitlab CI experience
- Terraform experience, including writing custom modules and collaboration
- Ansible experience
- Proficient in Linux
- SRE experience for a small to mid-enterprise system
- General cloud architecture experience with Azure or GCP is a plus, but not required
- Experience with Kubernetes, and Docker a plus
- General DevOps Experience a plus
- Basic coding skills in Java, Python, Go, C , or a similar language are desirable
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Security framework experience (RMF, DISA STIG, CIS Benchmarks, etc) is nice to have
- Software Engineering background is nice to have
