Job Description/ Requirement:
- 10 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS Cloud Platform Engineering and Administration.
- 3–5 years of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
- Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Direct Connect, ELB, Security Groups, NACLs, and Networking.
- Hands-on production experience with AWS implementations.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
- Strong automation skills using Python (Boto3), Ansible, and Linux Bash scripting.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Docker, and containerized environments.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory, and related DevOps tools.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud-native architecture, microservices, and platform engineering.
- Experience with Linux system administration.
- Understanding of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience with enterprise cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Exposure to AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock, Kendra, and RAG models is a plus.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least one AWS Certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Python, Java, Go, or Groovy programming.
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio/App Mesh), container security tools, and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Jaeger.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Cloud and DevOps certifications preferred.
