Global Impact Group is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and ISO-certified provider of professional language access and administrative support services to government agencies nationwide. We are seeking a customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to support the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Schriever Space Force Base.
Position Summary
The Front Desk Clerk will serve as the initial point of contact for visitors and callers at the M&FRC. This role is responsible for client intake, program referrals, appointment scheduling, and general administrative duties in support of military members and their families. The position requires professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and route inquiries to appropriate staff
- Maintain knowledge of M&FRC programs (e.g., TAP, EFMP, SBP, Deployment)
- Register clients and track attendance using AFFIRST and Microsoft Outlook
- Monitor and respond to the organizational email account
- Assist in maintaining the Discovery Center, including computer/printer troubleshooting
- Support public outreach efforts through flyer distribution and content updates
- Perform quarterly inventory checks and maintain brochure racks/bulletin boards
- Ensure daily cleanliness and readiness of front desk and customer areas
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background check for base access
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of administrative, reception, or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and use government systems (AFFIRST training will be provided)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a military or federal agency setting
- Familiarity with military family support programs or readiness services
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus
