The QA Registered Nurse plays a key leadership role in ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care across our agency. This position combines direct patient care with training, documentation review, and quality improvement. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills plus previous experience in Quality Assurance and Compliance within home care or a healthcare environment.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care based on physician-directed plans
- Assess, prioritize, and respond to patient needs with strong clinical judgment
- Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families
- Lead training, onboarding, and ongoing clinical education for nursing and caregiving staff
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, FDA, HIPAA, and agency compliance standards
- Conduct QA reviews, documentation audits, and chart accuracy assessments
- Assist with QAPI initiatives and contribute to quality improvement projects
- Support regulatory compliance and help maintain survey readiness
- Collaborate with caregivers, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain continuity of care
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulations
- Safely assist patients with mobility needs including lifting, positioning, and transfers
- Promote a culturally sensitive, respectful, and positive care environment
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Valid CPR, ACLS, and BCLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to lift, position, and safely assist patients
- Prior home care experience is REQUIRED
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance and Compliance is REQUIRED
- Training or leadership experience is REQUIRED
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care
