Position Summary
The Home Health Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of our home health agency, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations while promoting excellence in patient care, staffing, and overall performance. This is an on-site leadership role requiring a proactive and compassionate professional who can lead by example and drive operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative and clinical operations for home health and personal care services.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Rhode Island Department of Health, HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and clinical teams to maintain high-quality care delivery.
- Lead staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
- Develop and execute marketing and referral strategies to grow the agency’s presence in the Greater Providence Area.
- Manage budgets, payroll, billing, and financial performance.
- Direct ongoing QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between staff, clients, families, and community partners.
- Foster a culture of compassion, teamwork, and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in home health, hospice, or healthcare administration.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations, OASIS, and home health compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, ensure compliance, and build effective teams.
- Current RN license preferred but not required.
