SOFTWARE DEVELOPER III

ROLE

Contributes to the completion of project deliverables and it accountable for the development, quality, and support of all internally developed applications. Must have a good understanding of the following:

• C# and .Net, Framework and Core
• JavaScript/jQuery/Libraries (React, Angular, etc)
• T-SQL Queries/Intermediate on Stored Procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create/Modify new applications. Applications may include web applications, batch scripts, or system integrations (API)
• Debug applications by testing and fixing errors
• Compile and write documentation for any assigned feature or bug
• Lead development initiatives from idea to completion
• Perform peer/code reviews to ensure quality and compliance
• Work with Software Development Leads to analyze and produce the best solution
• Provide support for issue escalation from the service desk
• Create and manage Git repos. Assist with merge conflicts
• Produce project estimates and assist in development planning
• Provides technical assistance to internal and external customers
• Observing feedback to help improve software design and performance

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Advanced understanding of object-oriented programming and analytical design
• Advanced knowledge of development security and industry best practices
• Excellent customer service attitude, good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage timelines in a quick moving environment
• Solid understanding of internal applications
• Knowledge of cross application architecture

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Associate/Bachelor’s degree or 4-8 years of experience

OTHER

• This position is for an advanced level developer. It will assist in the direction of development and possess an advanced understanding of the business and debt settlement industry
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check will be required
• This position is currently hybrid, requiring three in-office days per week; however, candidates should be prepared to work on-site full-time in the future
