What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at Global Healthcare Services?
Compensation
• Certified RT/CRT: $29.42–$44.12/hour
• Registered RT: $30.89–$46.33/hour
• On-Call: Additional $2.00/hour
Schedule
• Day Shift: Monday–Friday
• Must be available to work as early as 7:00 AM and as late as 5:00 PM
• On-call 2–3 days per week, shared with two other team members
• On-call may require coming in outside of normal working hours and may include weekends
What You'll Be Doing
• Provide respiratory care services to patients as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Perform the required competencies and responsibilities associated with the Respiratory Therapist position.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide quality patient care while following established hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• RT/CRT certified or certification eligible.
• Ability to successfully pass specific competencies required for the position.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• One year of Respiratory Therapy experience is helpful.
• Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Current ACLS/PALS certification or willingness to obtain.
