About the Job:
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our sales team as a Specialty Sales Executive. In this role, you’ll identify decision-makers and key influencers within hospital networks, long-term care facilities, and other strategic growth targets. Stakeholders may include (but are not limited to) C-level executives, CNMs, RDs, DONs, supply chain and procurement professionals, as well as medical and food distribution partners. Success in this role involves building relationships through in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and social media outreach. You’ll also represent the company at 8–10 tradeshows per year as an exhibitor.
Expectations:
The Specialty Sales Representative (nutritional supplements) will work primarily within a defined territory, with travel as needed to accomplish the following:
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue goals
- Meet or surpass daily sales activity metrics (in-person visits, calls, emails, InMails)
- Accurately record all activity and opportunities in CRM software (pipeline management)
- Manage sample disbursement through effective consultation and needs probing
- Deliver compelling product presentations in both one-on-one and group settings
- Build brand awareness via social media and professional networking
- Collaborate openly with the sales and marketing teams
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred
- 1–3 years of clinical experience, ideally in hospital or senior care settings
- Sales experience and nutrition expertise preferred
- Proficient with CRM software and digital sales tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong grasp of social media and internet-based marketing
