Job Summary: The Senior Associate General Counsel is responsible for supporting the Gasoline Distribution and Station Operations (GDSO) unit and retail field operations teams as well as the broad range of commercial and corporate contracts. Job Description: Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for the GDSO unit, which may include supply agreements relating to the purchase and sale of Global’s products and services, vendor and contractor agreements, technology agreements, and tenant leases. Providing general legal and business advice and assistance in connection with day-to-day operations, contract interpretation and enforcement, expansion and development opportunities and regulatory matters. Providing general corporate support including coordinating transactional diligence, regulatory matters and environmental compliance. Coordinate permitting with state, local and federal authorities with respect to the operation of retail gasoline stations and convenience stores, construction matters, and environmental matters. Interface with outside counsel and other retained professionals to ensure proper handling of matters where applicable. Additional Job Description: You have a strong background in contract drafting and negotiation. You are a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. You have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deal with rapidly changing priorities. You are able to identify, explain and balance business and legal risks. You have excellent written, oral, listening, and organizational skills with proven ability to interact effectively with varied audiences, including executive team members. You are exceptionally good at time management and are an effective multitasker. You have the ability to develop strong relationships and consistent lines of communications with key people internally and externally. A law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and are a member of the bar in one state, preferably Massachusetts. Pay Range: $182,300.00 - $291,500.00 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
