What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Dish Utility position at GLOBAL GAMING SOLUTIONS LLC?
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning and washing of dishes, cutting boards and all glassware and silverware.
- Maintains clean glass racks and is responsible for their storage.
- Duties may include the removal of garbage, cleaning of containers and floors as directed by the Chef.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to dish utility staff during assigned shifts.
- Assist with training new dish utility employees on cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and equipment use.
- Help coordinate workflow in the dish area to ensure kitchen operations run efficiently during service.
- Monitor dish room cleanliness and ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
- Communicate supply needs, equipment issues, or operational concerns to the Sous Chef.
- Serve as a resource to team members by answering questions and reinforcing procedures.
- Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by the Chef.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work effectively with peers, team members, and regulatory agency personnel.
- Previous kitchen stewarding or dish utility experience preferred.
- Ability to provide guidance and support to other dish utility team members.
License/Certifications/Other:
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
