Shall serve as the Regular Army Flying Hour Program Functional Analyst supporting key segments of the work performed on the Army Training Models. Perform functional or technical system design actions needed to support modifying existing application functionality or the addition of new functionality to satisfy user requirements. Shall possess a thorough knowledge of the Aviation Restructure Initiative, aviation force structure and individual and collective training requirements for pilots, crews and units. Ensures core databases (cost factors, force structure, manpower, and training strategy) are updated during each PPBES cycle based upon guidance provided by the government.

Must Have

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree or ten or more years of demonstrated successful experience with Regular Army Command G3, HQDA G3/5/7 Training, or Army School System as well as Regular Army Flying Hour Program resource management
  • Knowledge of interrelationship of developing, conducting, and evaluating training
  • Demonstrated ability working with and contributing to the HQDA-level PPBE process
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large data files and maintain quality control
  • Familiarity with Regular Army and Reserve Component acronyms
  • Thorough knowledge, experience and skill using the Training and Resource Model (cTRM) and its sub-components as well as experience in the development of algorithms to be used within cTRM software tools
  • User knowledge of MS Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
