Large Format Printing & Production Specialist

Global Expo Services LLC
Las Vegas, NV Contractor
POSTED ON 9/15/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/12/2027

Global Expo Services LLC is a Las Vegas-based trade show exhibit and event production company specializing in the design, fabrication, printing, and installation of custom exhibition booths and displays for trade shows throughout the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Large Format Printing & Production Specialist to join our production team. This is a hands-on position for someone who can take ownership of our large-format printing operation — from file preparation and machine setup to printing, troubleshooting, quality control, and routine technical maintenance.

Equipment You Will Work With

Our primary large-format printing equipment includes:

  • Mimaki UJV55-320 – 3.2-meter UV-LED roll-to-roll printer, including fabric and large-format display production
  • Roland TrueVIS VG3-640 – professional wide-format printer/cutter

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage our Mimaki UJV55-320 and Roland TrueVIS VG3-640 printers
  • Prepare, review, and optimize artwork and production files before printing
  • Handle large-format graphics, exhibition graphics, banners, vinyl, fabric, and other trade show display materials
  • Perform printer setup, calibration, media loading, print-head checks, cleaning, and routine maintenance
  • Monitor print quality, color consistency, alignment, resolution, and finishing requirements
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot printing, mechanical, software, RIP, connectivity, and production-related issues
  • Minimize material waste and ensure efficient use of inks, media, and production time
  • Maintain printers and related production equipment in proper working condition
  • Coordinate printing priorities with our design, fabrication, and project management teams
  • Assist with production planning during high-volume trade show periods
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience operating large-format digital printing equipment
  • Strong technical understanding of large-format printers and their mechanical and production systems
  • Advanced knowledge of print production workflows and file preparation
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and similar professional graphic design/vector software
  • Experience working with RIP software and print-production software
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical and print-quality problems independently
  • Understanding of color, resolution, bleed, scaling, vector/raster files, and large-format production requirements
  • Good working proficiency in English
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to production quality
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for printing operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required, particularly during busy trade show production periods
  • Reliable, organized, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

Experience with CNC cutting/routing machines is a strong plus.

Experience in any of the following areas will also be considered an advantage:

  • Trade show and exhibition production
  • Fabric printing
  • Large-format UV printing
  • Vinyl printing and cutting
  • CNC routing/cutting
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • RIP and color-management software
  • Print finishing and installation
  • Technical maintenance of large-format printing equipment

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for more than someone who simply sends files to a printer.

The ideal candidate understands the entire production process — artwork preparation, machine operation, print quality, troubleshooting, maintenance, materials, and final output — and is comfortable taking ownership of the printing department.

Because the trade show industry operates around fixed installation and event deadlines, candidates must be comfortable with a production environment where schedules may occasionally require flexibility.
