Class B Environmental Commercial Operator
Looking for more than just a driving job? At GEIR, your CDL is the foundation of a rewarding career in environmental services. As a Class A Environmental Commercial Operator, you'll spend approximately 80% of your time assisting with environmental services and 20% operating a CDL vehicle, including emergency response, industrial cleaning, waste transportation, and site remediation.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, and dump trucks
- Support environmental response and industrial service projects
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Represent GEIR professionally while working with customers and project teams
Work Schedule & Highlights
- Primarily local routes with occasional overnight travel
- Weekly overtime opportunities
- 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional weekend work required
- Shifts may exceed eight hours based on project demands and emergency response needs

Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Tanker and HazMat endorsements
- Minimum two years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record for the past three years
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
- Environmental services or industrial field experience
- Hazardous waste handling experience
- Heavy equipment operation
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Emergency response or industrial cleaning experience
