Position Overview
Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Supervisor to lead and inspire multiple crews within our environmental and industrial services operations. As a key leader, you will orchestrate daily field activities, ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency, and drive project success from start to finish. This pivotal role demands a proactive, solutions-oriented professional with a passion for mentoring teams, optimizing workflows, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Essential Functions
- Lead, supervise, and motivate field crews to achieve operational excellence on every project.
- Develop, coordinate, and adjust daily work schedules and allocate manpower to meet project and client needs.
- Oversee and participate in the completion of assigned field tasks, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for crew members regarding safety protocols, project updates, and personnel matters, fostering a culture of open communication and accountability.
- Manage essential administrative responsibilities, including documentation of attendance, job packs, customer requests, project coordination, and preparation of detailed status reports.
- Champion and enforce GEIR’s safety standards, promoting continuous improvement and risk mitigation in all field operations.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members, supporting professional development and skill advancement.
- Participate in a minimum of three hours of leadership training per month to stay current with industry best practices and company initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives and operational needs.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in managing and scheduling field employees engaged in industrial and environmental services is mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal, professional oral, and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively interface with employees and clients at all organizational levels
- Capability to perform demanding work, including activities conducted in and around confined spaces and at elevated heights.
- Availability and willingness to work over 8-hour shifts as required, and to be available for Emergency Response callouts as part of a rotational schedule.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience operating and working with industrial tools and heavy equipment.
- Maintain a valid Driver's License; a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to use a respirator in environments with potential exposure to chemicals, fumes, and other airborne contaminants. May be required to be clean-shaven to ensure a proper respirator seal.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs. and perform required manual labor in diverse outdoor settings.
- Superior ability to analyze complex situations, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior, proven experience operating within an industrial or plant-based setting is essential.
Pay
- $25.00 - $34.00 (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
