Engineering Manager | Build and Lead a Growing US EPCM Team

Denver, CO preferred | Houston, TX or Tulsa, OK considered

$225,000–$260,000 base 20% target bonus benefits

Two years into its US journey. Two acquisitions completed. Now looking for the engineering leader to help drive its next stage of growth.

Backed by an international engineering group with more than 6,500 employees across 65 offices, this US EPCM business combines the opportunity to shape a young organization with access to established global expertise.

Global Engineering Talent supported its initial US scale-up. Following the acquisition of two businesses, we have been retained again to help build the team for its next chapter.

There is already a delivery story behind the ambition: a $1 billion manufacturing facility delivered in 18 months. Further work with that client and opportunities across manufacturing, oil and gas and data centers are creating an exciting platform for growth.

We are now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function as the business pursues major projects across the US and internationally.

What you’ll help build

You will shape the engineering team, guide technical delivery and work closely with senior leadership to develop the capability needed for increasingly complex assignments.

This is a role for someone who enjoys developing people, solving technical challenges and building client confidence, and wants a meaningful part in how a growing business operates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and developing a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Translating client requirements into practical technical solutions and delivery plans.
  • Leading engineering input from early project definition and FEL/FEED through detailed design and delivery.
  • Managing engineering resources, budgets, schedules and quality.
  • Connecting engineering with procurement, project management and construction.
  • Bringing technical leadership to bids, proposals and client discussions.
  • Drawing on expertise across the wider international group.

You will support business development through your technical credibility, without carrying an individual sales target.

The experience you’ll bring

You will have led engineering teams within an EPC or EPCM environment and understand both design-build and standalone engineering design delivery.

Experience across industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, power or other complex capital projects will be valuable. We are interested in the breadth of your judgment, your ability to lead across disciplines and evidence of teams you have helped develop.

A current PE license is preferred. Mechanical engineering is of particular interest, although other disciplines will be considered.

Package and location

  • $225,000–$260,000 base salary.
  • 20% target bonus.
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance options, with eligible dependent coverage.
  • HSA-compatible medical plan option, virtual care and wellness programs.
  • Relocation support negotiable for the right candidate.

Benefits are subject to eligibility, employee contributions and plan terms.

Denver is preferred, with Houston or Tulsa also considered. Working arrangements offer flexibility, with the majority of non-travel time spent in the office. National and international travel will depend on project requirements.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
