Position OverviewGlobal Energy Services (GES) is seeking a motivated and organized Program Manager to oversee the implementation and daily operations of a utility-sponsored energy efficiency community outreach and program. The Program Manager will manage the day-to-day program operations such as: coordinate outreach events; supervise field personnel; prepare reporting and invoicing documentations; liaise with utility staff; and support internal staffing operations including recruitment, interviewing, and training. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and experience managing field-based outreach programs or community engagement initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Operations & Event ManagementPlan, coordinate, and oversee community outreach events to promote utility's energy efficiency programs and services.Identify and secure outreach opportunities including community events, local partnerships, and public engagement venues.Ensure all outreach activities align with program goals, performance metrics, and utility requirements.Coordinate logistics for events including staffing, materials, equipment, and reporting. Field Staff ManagementSupervise and manage outreach staff and field representatives.Assign schedules, outreach locations, and daily tasks to field personnel.Monitor staff performance and ensure program quality standards are maintained.Provide ongoing support and guidance to field teams during program implementation. Hiring, Interviewing, & TrainingLead recruitment efforts for outreach staff and field representatives.Conduct interviews and assist with candidate selection.Develop and conduct training programs for new hires covering program guidelines, outreach protocols, and customer engagement best practices.Provide ongoing coaching and professional development for staff. Program Reporting & InvoicingMaintain accurate records of outreach activities, staffing, and program deliverables.Prepare and submit program invoices and supporting documentation in accordance with utility and contract requirements.Track program metrics and assist with reporting requirements.Coordinate with internal administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation and compliance. Administrative & Program CoordinationMaintain program schedules, outreach calendars, and staffing plans.Ensure program documentation is properly organized and submitted on time.Work closely with company leadership to ensure program objectives are met.Assist with process improvements to enhance program efficiency and outreach impact. QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, public administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).1 years of experience in program and/or project management, community outreach, or field operations.Experience supervising staff or managing teams.Strong organizational and project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Preferred:Experience working with utility programs, energy efficiency initiatives, or government-funded programs.Experience managing outreach or community engagement campaigns.Bilingual skills (Spanish, Chinese, or other languages common in Southern California communities). Skills & CompetenciesLeadership and team managementEvent planning and coordinationRecruitment and trainingProgram reporting and documentationInvoicing and administrative oversightStrong attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaboratively Compensation & BenefitsCompensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
