Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Dallas, TX. The Reporter will research, develop, and produce news stories and features related to Ford’s products, technologies, initiatives, and community impact. Daily responsibilities include gathering information from internal and external sources, conducting interviews, verifying facts, and writing clear, accurate, and engaging content for digital and potentially print platforms. The role also involves collaborating with communications, marketing, and multimedia teams to create compelling storytelling that aligns with Ford’s brand and strategic priorities. The Reporter will be expected to meet deadlines, adapt to evolving news priorities, and maintain high standards of journalistic integrity and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong reporting and news writing skills, including the ability to research, interview, and produce accurate, timely stories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and general writing skills suited to diverse audiences and formats.
- Experience with multimedia content creation, such as video, audio, or digital storytelling tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
