Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hydraulic Repair Technician to join our team. This position requires a mechanically inclined individual capable of diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding a wide variety of hydraulics and hydraulic/mechanical components across multiple OEM brands and models. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver high-quality repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild hydraulics and hydraulic/mechanical components including pumps, cylinders, valves, gearboxes, etc
- Work with a wide range of hydraulic systems from multiple OEM manufacturers
- Disassemble, inspect, measure, and determine failure causes
- Replace seals, bearings, and worn components while ensuring proper tolerances and performance
- Test repaired components to verify functionality and reliability
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow shop safety procedures
- Document repairs and communicate findings with management or customers when required
- Work independently to manage repair jobs from teardown to final testing
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience repairing and rebuilding hydraulic components from multiple OEM brands
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency with measuring tools and shop equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Qualifications:
- 5 years of hydraulic repair experience
- Experience with industrial hydraulics
- Machining or fabrication experience is a plus
