Senior Mechanical Engineer – Loads and Dynamics

Responsibilities & Essential Duties

• 
  Perform structural dynamic analyses for missile and spacecraft flight hardwar
• eProduce and maintain models generated from both in-house and commercially available software codes, that simulate mechanical loading conditions, mechanism deployment motions, and the response behavior of missile segment and spacecraft separation event
• sPerform loads development (primary structure and component level), shock and vibration environments determination and component and system level testing and data evaluatio
• nPrepare test plans; static, separation dynamics, vibration, modal and shock test execution, and post-test reports. You will be an important part of our product development team, where effective communication is critica
• lHave the ability to work on a multi-disciplined team performing structural design trades, preliminary and detailed design/analysis activity and performance and maintenance assessments of operational system

• eldProfessional work experience performing structural dynamics analyses and loads/environments development for spacecraft, aircraft, or missi

• icsExperience in finite element modeling and analysis using NX/NASTRAN, LS-Dyna, Wave6, or equival
• entExperience in programming and use of MATLAB (or equivalent) for analysis and data manipulati
• onsKnowledge or experience implementing aircraft, missile OR spacecraft structural dynamic meth
• odsMust be a US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance; ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Cleara
