ALM SUBSURFACE PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIST

Responsibilities & Essential Duties

· Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights for ALM Subsurface, Operations and leadership teams.

· Develop Python- and SQL-based solutions to automate reporting, data validation and recurring business workflows.

· Transform complex operational and subsurface data into scalable visualizations and decision-support tools.

· Support enterprise data-source transitions, dashboard migrations and reporting enhancements.

· Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate manual work processes across the organization.

· Maintain data quality and integrity across production, well test, allocation and regulatory datasets.

· Validate data sources, troubleshoot discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.

· Support well test validation workflows and continuous improvement of automated validation logic.

· Document data definitions, business rules and reporting methodologies.

· Serve as a key data steward ensuring confidence in reporting and visualization products.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills)

· Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data visualizations.

· Working knowledge of Python, SQL and advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, workflow automation, data export manipulation and automated spreadsheet refreshes.

· Experience with data validation, data stewardship and quality-control processes.

· Experience supporting regulatory reporting, preferably within oil and gas operations.

· Strong communication, organizational and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX and data modeling.

· Experience developing Python-based automation and analytical workflows.

· Experience working with upstream production, well test, allocation or subsurface datasets.

· Experience with New Mexico regulatory reporting and NMOCD compliance requirements.

· Experience supporting Plug and Abandonment workflows, wellbore documentation and AFE generation.

· Awareness of or proficiency in Energy Components, particularly for supporting allocation corrections and resolving production data/network errors.
