POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction; builds relationships with existing clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities; expands market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new business relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAAL DUTIES:
· Establish relationships with oil & gas companies, exploration groups and engineering companies
· Identify key trends and needs in the oil & gas industry
· Maintain regular contact with key past, existing and future development partners to strengthen relationships and to identify new business opportunities
· Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
· Identify and recommend or participate in relevant conferences, technical seminars, trade meetings, etc. to make new contacts and identify new development opportunities
· Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
· Communicate the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the recruiting team
· Source and recruit candidates for open job orders
· Expand candidate pool through cold and warm calling
· Use recruiting tools such as oil & gas job boards and LinkedIn to fill assignment order rapidly with qualified contract employees
· Maintain and update the internal candidate database
· Document and report on recruiting activity and productivity
· Build professional relationships with clients, contract employees and staff
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):
· Excellent people skills
· Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to understand and accurately apply basic math skills
· Ability to make competent use of work related equipment and materials (e.g. computer hardware, software, online job boards, internal candidate database)
· Computer skills in basic programs are essential (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Must be capable of producing results within an unstructured environment and have the flexibility to identify and respond to changes in priorities
· Business development skills are necessary as well as a keen awareness of the business community

· Prior experience in recruiting, business development and account management preferred
· Previous experience in oil and gas industry preferred
· Bachelor’s Degree is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
