Position Essential Job Functions
Operations & Administration
- Safety inspections are performed weekly.
- Control of safety & production onsite
- Plans and maintains a 3-week look ahead in conjunction with the PE/PM
- Plans and executes daily work.
- Responsible for the completion of the daily log or client report.
- Verifies reported quantities (ex, materials removed when dredging)
- Hold daily morning safety meetings and document attendance.
- Leads stretch and flex during morning safety meetings.
- Hold weekly toolbox safety topic meetings and document attendance.
- Manages logistics
- Tracks material onsite and needed within the next 3 weeks
- Reports any/all injuries, spearheads documentation
- Conducts and documents employee evaluations/reprimands.
- Provides daily reporting of labor hours.
- Provide procurement receipts to PM daily.
- Ensures permitting/environmental compliance.
- Responsible for initiation and/or elevation of change orders
Education
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Applicable Construction-Related Experience: 6 -15 years
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both colleagues and clients.
- Proficient in supporting all phases of the estimating and bidding process.
- Solid understanding of standard construction practices and relevant legal requirements.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications and software.
- The hourly range for this position is $55.00 - $85.00
- Actual base compensation offered will be determined based on multiple factors, including relevant skills and experience.
