Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pickup and Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of small products to various locations. As a Courier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service and effective communication. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes. SCHEDULE IS MONDAY-THURSDAY 9:00-4:00 and FRIDAY 9:00-3:00
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to dentist's offices.
- Help pack and unpack dental lab products.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring that items are secured during transport.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and any issues encountered during transit.
- Collaborate with lab staff to coordinate pickups and ensure timely dispatch of shipments.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills is important for efficient deliveries.
- Must have basic computer knowledge.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Must maintain professional attitude and appearance. Scrubs optional.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate delivery records.
