Position Summary
Global Data Risk (“GDR”) is seeking an entry-level Analyst to support complex litigation, investigations, and strategic advisory matters. Our work often involves high-stakes commercial disputes, billion-dollar litigation, technology failures, intellectual property disputes, insider risk matters, and cross-border investigations.
This role is designed for an unusually capable early-career professional with exceptional analytical ability, outstanding writing skills, intellectual curiosity, and the maturity to operate effectively in demanding professional environments.
The Analyst will work directly with senior consultants, former government officials, technical specialists, outside counsel, and corporate clients on fast-moving matters where precision, judgment, discretion, and responsiveness are essential.
This is not a routine corporate analyst position. The pace is demanding, expectations are high, and the work often involves ambiguity, compressed timelines, and highly sophisticated counterparties.
Location Requirement
Candidates must reside within approximately 30 minutes of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Los Angeles, California, United States and be able to work in person as needed.
Core Responsibilities
- Support complex litigation and investigative matters
- Conduct factual, technical, financial, corporate, and open-source research
- Draft chronologies, memoranda, interview summaries, investigative findings, and litigation support materials
- Assist senior consultants and subject matter experts in case development and analysis
- Organize and synthesize large volumes of information under time pressure
- Support client meetings, expert engagements, and outside counsel requests
- Operate effectively in multidisciplinary teams composed of internal staff and specialized external consultants
- Manage rapidly shifting priorities and deadlines with professionalism and composure
