Job Summary
The Ramp Agent is responsible for providing safe and efficient ground support services to aircraft, ensuring timely operations and passenger satisfaction. This position involves loading and unloading baggage and cargo, guiding aircraft in and out of gates, and performing essential safety checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure using standard hand and light signals.
- Load, unload, and sort passenger baggage and cargo with care and efficiency.
- Operate ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, and de-icing equipment.
- Conduct visual safety inspections of ramp areas and equipment.
- Maintain communication with flight crews and ground personnel via radio.
- Handle and tag luggage according to airline and TSA regulations.
- Assist with aircraft pushback and towing procedures.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly.
- Must pass background checks and obtain airport security clearance (SIDA badge).
- Available to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous ramp or airline operations experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

- Outdoor, airport ramp/tarmac environment.
