Global Crane is a full service crane and heavy lifting company serving industrial, commercial, and construction projects across Southwest Louisiana. Our fleet ranges from 30 ton hydraulic truck cranes to 500 ton all terrain cranes, allowing us to handle everything from routine service work to large scale heavy lifts and plant turnarounds.
Role Description
Global Crane is looking for dependable CDL crane operators to join our team. This position is more than just running a crane. We’re looking for someone willing to take care of the equipment, help keep the yard organized, and be part of the team day to day.
Responsibilities
* Operate cranes safely and efficiently on job sites
* Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on cranes and trucks
* Help troubleshoot minor mechanical or hydraulic issues when possible
* Keep equipment clean, greased, fueled, and job ready
* Assist with crane setup, tear down, counterweight installation, and transport preparation
* Work with dispatch, riggers, and supervisors to complete jobs safely and efficiently
* Follow all company and job site safety procedures
* Help around the yard when not actively on a job
Qualifications
* Valid CDL Class A preferred
* NCCCO certification
* NCCER certification
* Crane operating experience
* Mechanical knowledge is a plus
* Must be dependable and willing to work overtime when needed
* Ability to work safely in industrial and construction environments
* TWIC card is a plus
