What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telematics Validation Engineer position at Global Connect Technologies?
Required Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in automotive validation and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform validation and testing of automotive ECUs, with a focus on telematics systems.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for both ECU-level and system-level validation.
- Analyze and debug communication issues using protocols such as CAN and MQTT.
- Conduct HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing and develop automation scripts as required.
- Utilize Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.) for simulation, analysis, and diagnostics.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, track, and resolve defects.
- Prepare detailed test reports, validation summaries, and defect documentation.
- Support integration and system and subsystem-level validation activities.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in CAN, MQTT, and Vector tools.
- Hands-on experience in HIL testing.
- Experience in automotive ECU validation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with telematics ECU testing.
