Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thermal and thermodynamic analysis for HVAC/chiller systems.
- Design and optimize chiller components and system layouts.
- Support product testing, validation, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing.
- Conduct engineering calculations and prepare technical documentation.
- Perform heat transfer and refrigerant system modeling.
- Develop test plans and support system commissioning activities.
Deliverables:
- Mechanical design packages and technical specifications.
- Vendor evaluation and integration reports.
- Testing, commissioning, and performance validation reports.
Required Skills:
- Experience in HVAC and chiller system engineering.
- Strong thermal analysis and system modeling skills.
- Knowledge of ASME standards and engineering calculations.
- Proficiency in simulation/modeling tools.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years HVAC experience OR
- MS with 2 years HVAC experience.
