Mechanical Engineer – HVAC (Chiller Systems)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thermal and thermodynamic analysis for HVAC/chiller systems.
• Design and optimize chiller components and system layouts.
• Support product testing, validation, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing.
• Conduct engineering calculations and prepare technical documentation.
• Perform heat transfer and refrigerant system modeling.
• Develop test plans and support system commissioning activities.

Deliverables:

• Mechanical design packages and technical specifications.
• Vendor evaluation and integration reports.
• Testing, commissioning, and performance validation reports.

Required Skills:

• Experience in HVAC and chiller system engineering.
• Strong thermal analysis and system modeling skills.
• Knowledge of ASME standards and engineering calculations.
• Proficiency in simulation/modeling tools.

Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years HVAC experience OR
• MS with 2 years HVAC experience.
