Job Description:
We are seeking an Automotive Validation Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in Infotainment Validation / Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating automotive infotainment systems, testing features, and ensuring high-quality product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform validation and testing of Automotive Infotainment Systems including Radio, Navigation, Bluetooth, Connectivity, Audio, Display, and HMI features.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases based on system requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Work closely with development teams, system engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Validate software releases and support vehicle-level testing.
- Analyze logs, trace files, and test results for root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and validation processes.
- Participate in test planning, status reporting, and quality reviews.
Required Skills:
- 2–3 years of experience in Automotive Validation / Testing.
- Strong experience in the Automotive Domain.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Infotainment Testing.
- Good knowledge of Bluetooth, USB, CarPlay, Android Auto, Navigation, Audio systems.
- Experience in CAN tools like CANoe / CANalyzer is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols: CAN, LIN preferred.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira / ALM / Bugzilla.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with OEMs / Tier-1 automotive clients.
- Exposure to Agile methodology.
- Understanding of software validation lifecycle.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical, or related field.
