We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support our growing manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and ensuring a smooth month-end close process.

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support our growing manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and ensuring a smooth month-end close process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments
- Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Support month-end and year-end close procedures
- Prepare monthly financial statement packages and compliance reports
- Maintain and update the general ledger
- Oversee accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and payroll processing
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow
- Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets
- Respond to requests for financial data and documentation
- Prepare year-end workpapers for audit and tax filing
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
