What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher / Teacher Assistant (Spanish Speaking Preferred) position at Global Children School?
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and motivated Teacher or Teacher Assistant who speaks Spanish or bilingual in other languages and enjoys working with young children in a warm, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Help implement the classroom curriculum and daily schedule
- Actively supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
- Help with meals, diapering, toileting, and transitions as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Follow center policies and state licensing regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience working with toddlers and/or preschool children preferred
- Spanish speaking preferred (bilingual a plus)
- Love for children, patience, and positive attitude
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- EEC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
