The Job You Will Perform
- This opportunity is for a Spring semester co-op from January to May 2027 and is for students currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited technical college
- Observe and assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance work including but not limited to:
- Electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair
- Conduit & wire installation
- Lighting repair
- PLC troubleshooting & repair
- Drive troubleshooting & repair
- Instrumentation & control valve calibration
- Troubleshooting & repair
- HVAC work
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to safely operate equipment in a heavy industrial environment
- Ability to utilize a computer for record keeping and documentation
- Willing and able to work overtime, weekend, and holidays
- Ability to comprehend and follow complex directions in oral, written or electronic formats
- Ability to succeed in a team-based, high performance work environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation
- Ability to work at heights, on ladders and in confined spaces
- Operate or work in and environment where walking, standing, crouching, lifting, twisting, climbing and reaching are required to complete essential job functions.
- Ability to work well with teams and to learn accurately through self-study
