About The Role:
Are you ready to architect the future of data as a global leader in sustainable fiber products? As the Data and Analytics Solutions Architect for GCF, you will design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms that power business intelligence, predictive analytics, and machine learning across cloud and on-premises environments. You will integrate diverse data sources—including SAP BW and SAP HANA—into unified analytics frameworks, enabling strategic insights and operational excellence.
You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate goals into scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. You will work closely with managed service providers – ensuring delivery of robust reporting and analytics platforms. Your leadership will foster best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and analytics delivery, while championing automation and DevOps to accelerate innovation. You’ll evaluate emerging technologies, support cloud modernization, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives that span the entire Global Cellulose Fibers organization.

Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products. Our safe, high-quality pulp forms the basis for a wide range of applications like towel and tissue products, diapers, feminine care, incontinence and other personal care products that promote health and wellness. In addition, our specialty pulp serves as a sustainable raw material used in construction materials, paints, coatings and more. GCF generated $2.8B in revenue in 2024 and has 3,300 employees globally, with nine manufacturing facilities and eight regional offices. About You: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, analytics, and engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Proven experience integrating SAP BW on HANA into enterprise analytics platforms.
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and advanced analytics across structured and unstructured data.
- Expertise with cloud platforms and enterprise data solutions, including Microsoft Azure (Fabric, Synapse, Data Lake, Azure ML), SAP Business Data Cloud, MS SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Experience designing data warehousing, lakehouse, and real-time streaming architectures.
- Proficiency in programming and analytics tools: SQL, Python, PySpark, Power BI, Alteryx, Azure Analysis Services.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Azure AutoML.
- Experience with DevOps and automation, including Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for data and ML workflows.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOX), including role-based access control, data lineage, cataloging, Azure Purview, Key Vault, and Active Directory.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field required; Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, SAP Certifications) strongly preferred.
