Job Description
Cloud Security Operations (Cloud Sec Ops) owns the operationalized governance of security operations and controls within the cloud infrastructure. This organization will own the 24/7 monitoring of the firewall policies/activities, network port volume (canaries), cloud provider security policies, and scan for policy variations within the landscape.
SecOps PM - will drive vendor / contractual relationships needed across the space. Focusing on maturing the tools, metrics, and dashboards required to build security awareness and Security Campaign directions
Cloud SecOps PM - will mature vendor / contractual relationships needed across the space. Baseline and mature the tools, metrics, and dashboards required to build security awareness and Security Campaign directions. Cloud SecOps PM will also own the financial forecasting support in partnership with the Mgr of Cloud SecOps. PM will be he owner, of weekly / monthly
Cloud SecOps PM to assist with vendor SOWs and build out awareness and training standards. Standards will ensure we are not only focused on the governance but also the education of why we do what we do.
Success will allow for monthly business reviews looking at range for policies and security trends that need to be proactivly scanned for and alerted on prior to impact.
Cloud Security and Security escalations best practices from having worked within a Sec Operations field or organization. Working through ambiguous data rich enviroments and be able to synthezie security "So What" stories and justifications for general business partners. Have a foundation understanding of business writting, forecasting, and leveraging data within documentation to ensure quantitative impacts are up front.
Business initiative documents, decks, and security awareness material. Security inititive (Weekly / Monthly) business review reports, and additionally programatic situational awareness (Sit Rep) reports as needed. Budgeting forecast and financial gaurdrails for the organization in partnership with the Manager of Cloud SecOps.
