Requirements For This Role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 8-10 years’ experience required.
- Control Systems Development/Upgrade Projects. Includes Sensors/Modules wiring diagrams, I/O devices and embedded controllers, PLC/HMI/Fanuc Robot/Camera Programming and Validation Testing.
- Siemens PLC TIA Portal Programming, Step 7 Programming, and troubleshooting
- Fanuc experience
- Cognex/Keyence experience
- Experience setting up and maintaining common industrial networks such as (Ethernet IP, Profinet or Profibus).
- Assists in creating and following electrical design schedule, from specification concept to system up completion, while keeping to an overall project schedule.
- Testing, evaluating, modifying, and calibrating products and instruments.
- Analyze plant processes, design, and implement improvements.
- Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
- Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls.
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.
- Define scope, Collect Information, Brainstorm/Analyze, Develop solutions, Review solutions with team, improve, procure/implement.
- Onsite- Full time (desk, factory floor etc).
- Adjustable sit/stand desks provided.
- Office space is part of a large factory environment.
- Both individual and group tasks.
- Regular team meetings and Obeya Schedule.
- Team of ~10 engineers and technicians sitting together.
