About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS SCM (OM) Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team in the Dallas/Plano area. This is a critical, hands-on role focusing on Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2.8), specifically handling Order Management (OM), Release Management, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) / E-Commerce Gateway integrations.
Important Work Location Note: While our primary hub is in Dallas, the selected resource will be required to work out of the client’s Plano, TX office all 5 days of the week (100% onsite).
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
As a Techno-Functional Consultant, you will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of critical trading partner integrations and order processing systems. Your daily scope will include:
Integration Development: Develop new or modify existing E-Commerce Gateway documents for 830 Inbound (Planning Schedule with Release Capability) and 860 Inbound (Purchase Order Change Request - Buyer Initiated) signals across 3 global Operating Units (US, EU, and APAC).
System Analysis: Deeply analyze and understand the existing document configurations and architecture.
Business Collaboration: Work closely with Functional and Business teams to capture requirements and align on technical modifications.
Implementation & Testing: Implement approved changes and conduct rigorous comparison testing against legacy/existing documents to ensure data integrity and zero business disruption.
Reporting Support: Handle associated reporting modifications using Oracle EBS reporting toolsets.
Technical & Functional Qualifications
< data-path-to-node="15">Required Technical Expertise:Oracle EBS R12.2.8: Strong technical proficiency within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment.
Oracle E-Commerce Gateway: Deep hands-on knowledge of Trading Partner Integrations, specifically supporting EDI transactions:
EDI 830 (Inbound)
EDI 860 (Inbound)
Reporting Tools: Proven experience with XML Publisher.
Order Management (OM): Strong functional/technical understanding to support end-to-end Order Processing workflows.
Release Management: Hands-on knowledge of Oracle EBS Release Management modules is required.
Experience with Discoverer Reports is a plus (though candidates without it will be considered as an exception).
Candidate Requirements
Work Authorization: Must be a or (No sponsorship or C2C with visa dependencies available for this role).
Commute/Relocation: Must reside in the Dallas/Plano, TX area or be willing to relocate immediately to comply with the 5-day-a-week onsite requirement.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills are required to seamlessly bridge the gap between technical, functional, and business stakeholder teams.
