Overview
We are a busy , established appliance service company, seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. Must have valid drivers license. 2 years experience preferred but will train the right person. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in field service environments. The technician will be responsible for providing high-quality repairs efficiently and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers & dryers, dishwashers and Microwaves
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Conduct assembly and disassembly of appliances for repair or replacement parts
- Test repaired appliances to ensure proper operation before returning to customers
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used
- Operate trucks safely for on-site repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- a valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
- Knowledge of assembly processes and equipment maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and office staff.
- Ability to work in various environments including residential homes.
