Shipper/Receiver

Overview

Global American is an Embedded Hardware Integrator located in Hudson, NH. We have been in business for 37 years and are specialists in building long-life Computer Hardware for the Medical, Industrial, Government, Oil and Gas, and Defense industries.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized /Stockroom/Shipper/Receiver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or packing lists, and document receipt accurately.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting appropriate packaging materials, labeling packages correctly, and coordinating with carriers for pickup or delivery.
• Perform data entry tasks related to shipping and receiving transactions, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
• Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Assigning and manually bar coding all incoming product

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills.
• Ability to accurately verify shipment contents against documentation.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple shipments efficiently.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management or shipping software is preferred.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with carriers, suppliers, and team members.
• Physical ability to lift packages and perform manual handling tasks as needed.
• Reliability and punctuality in completing assigned duties

You must also be hard working with an impeccable work ethic. We're a small group, so if you can't pull your own weight, it will be immediately obvious. Attention to detail is paramount; quality is our forte.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
