Job Title: Compliance Analyst
Location: Morris Plains, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time (Hybrid)
This role serves as a central contact for routine regulatory activities in support of the Compliance department, with specific responsibility for insurance producer compliance, recordkeeping and monitoring to ensure the company transacts business with properly licensed producers. Further duties & responsibilities are listed below.
- Collection and analysis of information from external stakeholders
- Review and analysis of national insurance databases
- Monitor dedicated email box and timely process requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and transmit written correspondence to both company employees and third parties
- Track status and follow up in writing and/or verbally on outstanding responses/information/tasks.
- Liaise with third parties and company employees regarding compliance requirements/responsibilities
- Database input and management
- Invoice review and management
- Perform additional duties and tasks assigned by management
Qualifications
Skills/Experience:
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Interest in varied workload and learning new areas of compliance and the law
Preferred:
- Work in a legal or insurance environment
- Experience in database administration and general producer licensing and recordkeeping
