Program Specialist – Join Our Team at Global Adult Care Services LLC
At Global Adult Care Services LLC, we believe in creating a supportive, positive environment for both the individuals we serve and the staff who care for them. We are currently looking for a compassionate and organized Program Specialist who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with people, staying organized, and helping a team succeed. The Program Specialist helps guide Individual Support Plans (ISPs), supports staff, and works alongside families and community partners to ensure each person receives thoughtful, person-centered care.
What You’ll Be Doing
Helping complete assessments and develop Individual Support Plans (ISPs)- Leading plan meetings and updating goals as needs change
- Tracking progress and celebrating growth
- Keeping records and documentation organized and up to date
- Communicating openly with families, staff, and team members
- Training and supporting Direct Support Professionals
- Reviewing documentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Assisting with medical appointments and health record updates
- Supporting medication documentation and processes
- Encouraging meaningful community involvement and activities
- Researching new opportunities and resources for individuals
- Helping during challenging situations with calm, supportive leadership
- Pitching in when extra support is needed

Qualification
- Master’s degree and 1 year of direct experience supporting individuals with ID/A
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of direct experience
- Associate degree or 60 college credits and 4 years of direct experience
