Position Overview
The Manager of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting will play a key role in the preparation and review of external financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and public company reporting standards. This individual will support the close process, assist with consolidations, partner with external auditors, and help build scalable accounting policies and reporting processes aligned with internal control requirements and enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable reporting requirements
- Conduct technical accounting research and prepare documentation to support accounting conclusions and policies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, consolidations, and variance analysis
- Assist with accounting for complex transactions such as revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, and equity-based compensation
- Contribute to the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and ongoing policy updates
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process
- Partner cross-functionally to assess financial implications of business activities and strategic initiatives
- Support enhancements to internal controls, financial processes, and reporting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification required or actively in progress
- Relevant experience in accounting or auditing; public accounting background strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and consolidation processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
