A leading global luxury fashion brand is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support its distribution and supply chain operations. Contract through June 2026 (high possibility of extension)
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods from distribution centers to retail stores, wholesalers, and e-commerce customers.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays, exceptions, or discrepancies.
- Maintain and update shipment data in internal systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the logistics manager and cross-functional partners (planning, warehouse, and customer service) to optimize transportation efficiency and resolve any operational issues.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and carrier invoices.
- Track and analyze carrier performance, escalating issues as needed.
- Provide excellent internal and external communication and follow-up to ensure smooth delivery execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination experience required.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP or logistics management systems.
- Professional, polished demeanor and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days in-office per week (Rutherford, NJ).
- Reports directly to the Logistics Manager.
