What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as the on-site HR point of contact, providing professional support to employees and leadership
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including scheduling, documentation, and system access
- Maintain accurate personnel records, training logs, and HR documentation in compliance with company and contract requirements
- Support payroll and timekeeping processes, including auditing timesheets and tracking employee changes
- Assist with employee relations matters, gathering information and escalating appropriately
- Coordinate training schedules and compliance tracking
- Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, applicant tracking, and interview coordination
- Track and schedule performance reviews and evaluations
- Assist with benefits inquiries and open enrollment support, escalating complex issues as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR requirements, including required postings and reporting
- Provide general administrative support including reporting, correspondence, and office coordination
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum:
- Associate degree
- 2 years of administrative or HR-related experience (government or industrial environment preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and DBIDS access
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Experience supporting HR functions (onboarding, records, scheduling)
- Experience in a government, military, or union environment
